Our Work

These pools went through very serious neglect the pool on the left had not been taken care of for three months, and the other 4 months during the summer. They were filled with algae and bacteria.

These pools also had mosquitos which could have caused West Nile virus to the families that own the homes. In order to rid the pools of the disgusting water and bacteria, we had to drain the pool, shovel out the large debris, then vacuum out the smaller debris.

We then pressure washed the walls, then applied acid to the bottom of the pool and the walls to remove bacteria and algae stains. We then drained the pool again of all the gross water and vacuumed out the small debris again.

The last step was to refill the pools and balance the chemicals for the pool water adding calcium hardness, pH adjustments, chlorine stabilizer, and chlorine. All of this could have been avoided had the customers had gotten professional pool services to keep the pools clean clear and sanitized year round with our professional services.

The cost of fixing these pools were as follows:

  1. Drain the pool
  2. Remove Debris
  3. Pressure Wash
  4. Acid Wash
  5. Refill The Pool City Water
  6. Chemical Wash To Clean The filters
  7. Balance The Water Chemistry With A Pool Start Up
The total cost of this could run $1,000 or more! The pool walls and the bottom were experiencing pitting or small holes. These pools will have to be resurfaced in the near future, much earlier than if they’d been taken care of by a professional pool service company.

Resurfacing the plaster in these pools will cost between $15,000 and $25,000! All of this could have been avoided by hiring a professional weekly service company. Professional pool services can extend the life of your plaster and save you money. While keeping your pool in a pristine condition all year round.
